Breeding heiffers

At elk valley bison Farm, we believe in sustainable farming practices that prioritize the health of our soil and the well-being of our animals. 

Here 

at elk valley we breed approximately 100 - 150 replacement heifers each year. we use 50 ourself and sell the others. So if your looking we always have bison for sale.

We choose our bison replacements heiffers when they come off of grass. We start out with 600 heifers and dwindle it down to 150. Giving us the top 25% heiffer bison for sale.

Elk Valley boasts 5 different herds so if you are looking for some specific bison bulls for sale or have interest in bloodlines from one of our top herd sires we can accommodate you.
